At the end of the program, students should possess the skills and knowledge necessary to take the State Board exam. Barber-Styling Cosmetology Combination students will learn men and women’s:
- Haircutting and Styling
- Perming/Coloring
- Hair Removal/Beard and Mustache Trimming
- Hairpieces
- Relaxing/Straightening
- Scalp Treatments/Shampooing
- Manicuring/Pedicuring/Nail Extensions
- Facials/Make-up
Upon graduation and the passage of the
Barber-Styling State Board Examination and passage of the Cosmetology State Board Examination, students will be qualified for positions as Barber Stylists, Cosmetologists, Nail Technicians, or Make-up.
