The Nail Technician program’s educational objective is to prepare students for entry-level positions as Nail Technicians. The student will learn how to:
- perform manicures
- perform pedicures
- apply nail tips with acrylic overlay
- apply sculptured nails using a form
- perform nail wraps and mending
- do fill-ins
- remove artificial nails
- apply polish
- apply nail art
Upon graduation and state certification, students will be qualified for entry-level positions as Nail Technicians in full-service salons or nail salons, or to open their own salons for nail services.
