Sunstate Academy offers barber training from experienced instructors as well as the opportunity to experience what it’s like working in a professional salon.

Barber-Styling Cosmetology Combination students will learn to perform the following on female and male clients:

• Haircutting and styling
• Perming & coloring
• Hair removal
• Beard and mustache trimming
• Hairpieces
• Relaxing & straightening
• Scalp treatments
• Shampooing
• Manicures and Pedicures
• Nail extensions
• Facials
• Make-up

 
Upon graduation and the passage of the Barber-Styling State Board Examination and passage of the Cosmetology State Board Examination, students will be qualified for positions as Barber Stylists, Cosmetologists, Nail Technicians, or Make-up artists.
