Get started on the road to becoming a cosmetologist! The benefits of professional Cosmetology training from Sunstate Academy are numerous. Students receive professional kits that contain all of the items they need during their training, as well as the opportunity to experience what it’s like working in a professional salon, learning the importance of up-selling, retaining clients and professional behavior. At the end of the program, cosmetology students will possess the skills and knowledge necessary to take the State Board exam. The Cosmetology program’s educational objective is to prepare students for entry-level positions as Cosmetologists. Upon graduation from Sunstate Academy’s Cosmetology program and state licensure, students will be qualified for positions as entry-level Cosmetologists (performing full hair services), Nail Technicians or Makeup Artists and prepared to seek employment in full-service cosmetology salons or nail salons.
