At the end of the program, cosmetology students will possess the skills and knowledge necessary to take the State Board exam.

The Cosmetology program's educational objective is to prepare students for entry-level positions as Cosmetologists.

Cosmetology students will learn to perform the following on female and male clients:

• Scalp treatments

• Manicuring & pedicuring

Upon graduation from Sunstate Academy's Cosmetology program and state licensure, students will be qualified for positions as entry-level Cosmetologists (performing full hair services), Nail Technicians or Makeup Artists and prepared to seek employment in full-service cosmetology salons or nail salons.
