At Sunstate Academy, quality instructors will train you to give professional manicures, giving you the grounding you need to pass state certification and obtain a job as a Nail Technician. A combination of theory and the practical experience of working on actual customers in a salon makes Sunstate Academy a great place to obtain your career training!

The Nail Technician program’s educational objective is to prepare students for entry-level positions as Nail Technicians.

The student will learn how to:

• Perform manicures & pedicures
• Apply nail tips with acrylic overlay
• Apply sculptured nails using a form
• Perform nail wraps and mending
• Perform acrylic fills
• Remove artificial nails
• Apply nail polish
• Apply nail art

Upon graduation and state certification, students will be qualified for entry-level positions as a Nail Tech in full-service salons or nail salons, or to open their own salons for nail services.
